Harry Styles Takes Over Madison Square Garden

Harry Styles is not merely playing Madison Square Garden.

For the next two months, he is practically moving in.

Styles opened an extraordinary 30-night residency at the legendary New York arena Wednesday as the U.S. leg of his Together, Together tour began.

The run continues through Oct. 31 and represents Styles’ only U.S. concerts of 2026.

Thirty Nights at One Arena

The scale of the run is unusual even for one of the world’s biggest pop stars.

Madison Square Garden says the 30 performances represent the largest number of shows Styles is playing at any single venue during his 2026 international tour.

Opening weekend features concerts on Aug. 26, 28 and 29 before Styles settles into a Wednesday-Friday-Saturday rhythm across much of September and October.

Styles Reworked the New York Show

Fans who had already seen the Together, Together tour elsewhere did not simply receive the same production transplanted into New York.

The MSG version arrived with a revised setlist and fresh staging choices for the in-the-round production.

Styles opened the first night with “Dance No More” before moving through songs including “Carolina,” “Music for a Sushi Restaurant,” “Cinema,” “Adore You” and “Watermelon Sugar.”

The show also brought back “Kiwi” in a newly reworked arrangement.

Jamie xx opened the evening before Styles took over the stage.

Dolly Parton Gets an Emotional Tribute

One of opening night’s most emotional moments had nothing to do with Styles’ own catalog.

Near the end of the concert, he acknowledged Dolly Parton, who had died one day earlier at 80.

A recording of Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” played inside the arena as fans illuminated Madison Square Garden with their phones and sang along.

Styles then closed the show with “Aperture.”

Madison Square Garden Is Familiar Territory

Styles already has major history at the Garden.

In 2022, he performed 15 consecutive concerts at the venue during Love on Tour.

Madison Square Garden transformed parts of the building into a Harry’s House-themed experience for that run.

The new residency doubles that number.

MSG has again built special experiences around the shows, including themed concessions, photo installations and exclusive merchandise.

New York Gets Harry Styles Through Halloween

The final performance is scheduled for Oct. 31.

Between now and then, Styles will take the same stage 29 more times.

For most artists, selling out Madison Square Garden once represents a career milestone.

Harry Styles has turned it into a two-month address.
